finding PURPOSE within DARKNESS
You need to keep looking until you find it.
Four years ago I literally grew up. I put my childish behaviors behind me, started to evaluate my life and decided change is needed. I no longer had a purpose. I successfully raised my daughters in a dysfunctional environment and got lost along the way.
Slowly… my purpose is growing as I heal. I didn’t give up on myself and I won’t give up getting my message to the woman who needs to hear it. What that means: I keep searching, evolving, and growing.
Life is a journey and I want to do it with you!
Purpose is as simple as finding your reason for being. And we are all given one at birth. Over the years it just gets buried in the messiness of life. There is no better time than now to discover a better way to live and help others along the way.
“Grow With Karen” is now PURPOSE within DARKNESS. You can expect a new message and new look in your email inbox and/or your Substack feed. Up to three times a month I will send out a newsletter. Twice a month I will share a fresh topic, having conversations that need to be addressed to promote healing. I will share resources/books and invite guests to share their recovery.
PURPOSE within DARKNESS isn’t solely for addiction recovery, but life recovery, with the focus being recovery from the past.
I love this Karen: "Purpose is as simple as finding your reason for being." It took me until my 50s to really find myself and what I wanted to be doing. Like you, at one time my purpose was being a mother and raising my daughters, but after they grew up and made their own lives, it took me a long time to find my purpose. I love how you are helping others.
